About us

The non-profit organization Scientia. Educatio. Ars. (SEA) was founded in 2023 in Slovakia. The organization was founded with the intention of supporting the spread of democratic European values. At SEA, we believe that European values ​​can only survive in a free, secure, prosperous and united Europe. That is why we focus our activities where the future of European security and prosperity is decided.

We look at things that are usually solved separately as a whole. Sectors such as politics, security, law, economics and technology actually influence each other, even though they are often analyzed in isolation.

Europe today is not solving a single problem, but a combination of multiple pressures that intersect. In Europe today, we are affected by issues of war and geopolitics, which are further related to energy and trade. It is in these connections that we see a space where it makes sense to analyze things more deeply. This means looking at things like regulation, infrastructure, and social and human issues.

Our focus is mainly on the Eastern part of Europe, the Central and Eastern European region, and how the European Union is changing – including its enlargement. We do not just try to describe what is happening. Our project and research is based on the question “why?” and the search for connections.

We measure our success by how well we are able to name specific risks. Especially those that arise gradually – when a certain trend is allowed to develop without a reaction, without clear rules or without a strategic approach from Europe. This applies to security, technological development, economic dependence, infrastructure, but also to the values ​​that – as we believe – Europe offers and defends. The absence of a coordinated approach often creates problems that are solved too late.

We do not stop at naming problems. Our intention is to find realistic solutions. We want to take into account all limits, including political, economic, value and practical ones. These are not abstract proposals, but approaches that can be implemented in practice.

It is important for us to connect events with trends. We work with data, expert views and development scenarios. Context is key for us – decisions in one area almost always have an impact elsewhere.

We do not add another voice to the noise. The goal is always an output that has real value for decision-making. Decision-making in the public sector, in business or in professional discussion. In an environment where there is an abundance of information, we want to make things clearer.

In the end, it is not just about informing. It is about better orientation in current events, it is about early identification of risks, it is about contributing to decisions that will last. We want us as a society to make the right decisions.

• We understand Eastern Europe. We try to understand the environment that surrounds us from all sides of the world. However, we do not perceive it in isolation. A global perspective is important.
• Analyses are a tool. Not a goal.
• The level of outputs is more important than their quantity./We say yes to the quality of outputs, not their quantity.
